Gold Farming Tips – Making Big Gold in Instances in World of Warcraft

One way that you may or may not realize you can use to get gold in Warcraft is running instances. Here is a compilation of gold farming tips to help you maximize the amount of money you make while doing dungeons. Remember that any method of earning cash is only worth it if you do it well and take full advantage of the opportunities available to you.
 
First, you need to be aware of how you will make the money in instances. There are a few primary contributors. Killing mobs and bosses in particular will provide direct cash rewards. That the most straightforward. Secondly are the green items that you will loot. These tend to be very rewarding – you can either sell them on the auction house or disenchant them yourself for the materials. A good run through an instance should leave you with at least one or two green quality items which can add up to a lot of money.
 
There are also the drops from the bosses. These will almost all be bind on pickup, so you won’t be able to auction them. Ideally you should bring an enchanter with you on all your runs so that you can random off the results of disenchanting the items. This will be more profitable than selling the loot to vendors, but if that’s all you can do it still provides decent returns.
 
Of course you will be picking up other items as well. Gray items, cloth, potions, etc. Plus if you have a gathering profession you’ll have an opportunity to pick flowers or mine nodes for ore. And don’t forget to pick up the daily quest.
 
Remember that every time you die it’s dragging down your profitability. If you are in the habit of getting killed when you run instances it can destroy your earn rate. Do what it takes to keep yourself alive, and if you’re running with a crew that can’t handle the content, you’re better off finding different partners or moving to an easier instance.
 
Which brings us to another important point: it’s a good idea to pick a few dungeons and get to know them well. Practice the same runs over and over, rather than constantly trying new things. The faster you can complete an instance the more gold you will make. You’ll have to do some experimenting to figure out which are the fastest and most rewarding to complete.
 
Running instances is one of the least boring ways to farm gold, or at a minimum it is a good way to shake things up if you’re getting tired of doing the same old thing.
